class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why wear them?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During orthodontic treatment, we have two main objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Align the teeth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Align the upper jaw with the lower jaw.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The teeth and jaws will gradually move in the direction provided by the elastics. <strong>Irregular wear would produce a back-and-forth movement of the teeth. <\/strong>The teeth would return to their initial position during periods of
